The Ascot Tweed Clutch Bag. Evening Purse, Fully Lined, Retro Elegance, Genuine

This gorgeous tweed Clutch Bag is made from British tweed.  A very stylish and yet retro bag that brings a very sophisticated country glamour to any outfit.  The bag would be perfect for a day at the races, at a polo match or to make a statement at a wedding or an evening out.  
 
The bag is surprisingly roomy due to its gusseted shape and can hold all of the essentials and has a handy little slip pocket in the lining of the bag.  The bag has a beautiful lining and has a 2cm (approx) flat base to give more structure to the bag.  The kiss-lock frame is an antique bronze coloured metal. It comes with either a hand-made detachable short leather handle, which should be long enough to fit in the crook of your arm and these come in tan or brown leather (please see photo).  Or you could choose a tan leather wrist strap or a chain shoulder strap in antique bronze that matches the clutch frame.   
 
I use British tweed made from British wool, being a farmer’s daughter, I wanted to support our British Farmers and British Manufacturers wherever I can.
 
I ensure that all of the linings and pockets are made from contrasting, mix and match, high-quality fabrics e.g. Liberty of London, Rose & Hubble, Viyella, real velvet, etc.   I line each bag with felt, so they hold their shape, yet are soft to handle.  
 
Every bag that I make is truly unique in its own right.
