The Newmarket Tweed Clutch Bag. Evening Purse, Fully Lined, Retro Elegance, Genu

This gorgeous tweed Clutch Bag is made from British tweed.  A very stylish and yet retro bag that brings a very sophisticated country glamour to any outfit.  The bag would be perfect for a day at the races, at a polo match or to make a statement at a wedding or an evening out.  
 
The bag is surprisingly roomy due to its gusseted shape and can hold all of the essentials and has a handy little slip pocket in the lining of the bag.  The bag has a beautiful lining and has a 2cm (approx) flat base to give more structure to the bag.  The kiss-lock frame is an antique bronze coloured metal.   It comes with a hand-made detachable short leather handle, which should be long enough to fit in the crook of your arm.   You can choose from tan or brown leather (please see photo).
 
I use British tweed made from British wool, being a farmer’s daughter, I wanted to support our British Farmers and British Manufacturers wherever I can.
 
I ensure that all of the linings and pockets are made from contrasting, mix and match, high-quality fabrics e.g. Liberty of London, Rose & Hubble, Viyella, real velvet, etc.   I line each bag with felt, so they hold their shape, yet are soft to handle.  
 
Every bag that I make is truly unique in its own right.
